Promotion of research and development on the Spanish diet
The Brâssica Foundation is a nonprofit organization for the promotion of research and development on the Spanish diet, healthy diets and the promotion of training, which is under the right recognized in the art. 34.1 of the Spanish Constitution and Law 50/2002 of 26 December on Foundations, which has affected so its heritage in a lasting manner, by the will of its creators, to the attainment of general interest objectives.
The aims of the Foundation are:
- Research and development in food technologies.
- Promotion of different diets within Spanish cuisine (Andalusian, Mediterranean, Atlantic ...).
- The promotion of the benefits of a healthy diet among the public and institutions.
- Promotion of the relationships between university and companies with the aim of facilitating work insertion of students in business and cooperation environments.
- Support and implementation of initiatives to encourage training in areas of difficult access.
- Cooperation and presence with public or private institutions, at national and international levels, in the activities of the Foundation.
- Promoting editions and publications of selected works included within the subjects the Foundation deals with.
- Any other purposes not expressly mentioned here that contribute to alimentary and social development of the area or social group where the Foundation operates.
